Level 11 Nachos
We had a bonus game on Friday, and went with a simple gaming classic. Bean and cheese nachos with do it yourself fixings. Avocado, tomatoes, lettuce, salsa and sour cream. This was consumed in large amounts, along with tequila based cocktails.
We resumed play with our oldest characters after a long hiatus where we had been trapped in a pyramid of shadows. We escaped through a portal and found ourselves in a frosty alpine meadow where we could see smoke rising from a village in the distance. Not smoke from cozy fireplaces, but the smoke of a village on fire.
We found the village in flames, and we joined the bucket brigade and helped put out the fires. We spoke with town leaders and agreed to go and try to take care of the troll problem and to bring them the crown from the king’s head as proof of our success. In exchange they will pay us a piddly amount of gold, but our rogue negotiated for a portion of future mining revenues in addition to the cash reward.
We bundled up with furs from the local trapper/hunter, and we set off into the mountains. It wasn’t long before we found the entrance to the lair of the trolls…
